I consider myself an amateur photographer. As such, I have a mid-level digital camera. I also have a rather heavy and bulky tripod that I lug around from time to time, but what I really need is a small portable tabletop tripod that I can throw in my camera bag. The PIXI Mini Tripod from Manfrotto looks like it could be a good choice. Although not really designed for heavier pro and semi pro cameras (having a 2.2 pound weight limit), the light weight and small size should please most average users. The PIXI Mini Tripod features are:
- Attachment = (top) 1/4″ screw attachment
- Front Tilt = -35/ +35 degrees tilt range
- Panoramic Rotation = 360 degree
- Closed Length = 7.28″
- Load Capacity = 2.2 lbs
- Maximum Height = 5.31″
- Minimum Height = 5.31″
- Weight = 0.51 lbs
At a price of $28, it is friendly on your wallet. The PIXI Mini Tripod is available on the Manfrotto website as well as various online retailers.
