I’m sitting here waiting for UPS to deliver my iPad mini, and I’ve been Googling cases for it while I wait. I expected to find a variety of cases, but I can’t say I expected to find keyboard cases for such a small device. Well, ZAGG has two keyboard cases for the iPad mini: the MINI 7 and the MINI 9. (Click the image for a bigger view.) Both are the folio-style case we expect for keyboard cases, with the keyboard attached to the front cover and the iPad mounted in the back cover. You can just see a glimpse in the photo of the easel-style stand that flips out of the back to support the iPad mini while you’re typing. Both have island-style keys and Bluetooth 3.0. The MINI 7 (left) is sized the same as the iPad mini, and it has a”unique layout that provides maximum finger space.” The MINI 9 (right) is a bit longer than the iPad mini, and it has a “carefully engineered layout to provide the same spacing as ZAGG’s traditional tablet keyboard.” Each is $89.99 and will be available soon. You can sign up at ZAGG to be notified when they are available.
